8 tips for cleaning allergens in the home

5. Ventilate your closet.
Ventilate the clothes and bedding that you do not use often. It would not hurt to wash these things at high temperatures. Clean the inside of the closet from dust with a microfiber rag.
6. Say Goodbye to Curtains and “little things”
If you have problems with allergens at home, it would be good to reduce the number of places where dust can hold. Replace curtains with materials that can easily be cleaned. This will make your cleaning much faster and more efficient. Also, reduce the number of little objects in the room.
7. A good vacuum cleaner is very important
You don’t need the latest and the best vacuum cleaner model, but it’s important that you have one that will not let the dust escape from it to your space. You can also ask about special hypoallergenic filters that go into the vacuum cleaner. Also, in the struggle to eliminate allergens, not use a vacuum cleaner that uses water. Water creates a moist environment that is perfect for the mites and molds that can stimulate your allergic symptoms.
8. Maintain regular air conditioning and ventilation
During the colder months, when the air conditioners are not in use (except when heating the space), the dust from your environment is collected on the filters. Wash them with a mild detergent, dry them and return to the place. Cleaning also performs to ventilation you might have in the bathroom or kitchen.
