How to make an ideal lawn in your yard?

The beautiful, green and velvety lawn is a goal and indispensable part of any backyard. The best time to plant the grass is spring or autumn. Note: Don’t use weed control products before planting the grass. Here are a couple of steps that will help you to successful planting and grow a lawn in your yard.
Choose quality grass seeds. You can have a beautiful, velvety lawn only if you have quality seeds and well-prepared land. Do the ground well and clear it of pebbles, sticks, etc, Break up larger lumps of soil so that you get a flat and clean surface ready for planting.
You can sow the grass by hand and try to spread the seeds evenly over the entire surface, then fertilize the soil. Avoid putting too much seed as there is a struggle for place and nutrients. In places where there is too much seed, the grass will be weak and thin. After sowing, gently and lightly scrape the soil with a rake so that 2 cm of soil will cover the seeds. Keep the surface moist by watering it moderately daily until the grass sprouts and grows a few centimeters. With regular and moderate watering of the grass, the root will be healthy and strong.
The first mowing of the grass should be done when it reaches a height of about 8 cm. At the first mowing, it is desirable to shorten the grass to about 5-6 cm and to keep the root healthy and strong, you should mow the grass as often as possible, but never lower than one-third of its length. The ideal length of a sloping lawn is 3 cm.
According to experts, the ideal time to irrigate a lawn is between 3 and 6 o’clock in the morning. Evening watering causes diseases in the grass, while if the grass is watered during the day, a large amount of water evaporates. The best and most even way of watering the grass is with built-in sprinklers.
