Modern garden design

In a modern home everything has its own place. Clean lines prevail and disorder is not allowed. In designing of the modern garden the same design principles should be applied. Every plant in the modern landscape has its own place, and from those dimensions must not go out.
Here are some tips to help you in modern garden design:
Water is a key element. You can add one of this elements: fountains, streams, pools and ponds with fish.
Make walls and obstacles using textural elements such as bamboo to create an intimate and private place.
Add elements of Japanese garden using sand or rocks.
Omit plants with bright colors. Stick to the neutral plants for a sooth atmosphere.
Use mostly evergreen plants that has color during all year.
Use stones, benches, statues.
