Images should always set at eye level an adult person but also depend on whether you will observe the image from sitting or standing position. If in a living room pictures are on opposite side of the sofa, they should be set at eye level in a sitting position or slightly higher.
Determine the proportions – the size and quantity of images compared to the size of the wall.
Group your photos in the composition. Group of the pictures is viewed as a one unit. Images can be grouped by size, content, layout framework etc. Pictures can be grouped symmetrically or asymmetrically; group images together so they produce rectangular, square etc. You can group images by size, smaller set around central bigger. Under asymmetrical grouping means to group together images different in everything and thus create an interesting group.
